Separately, Israeli forces opened fire on a Palestinian driving a vehicle by Bayt Jala; the Palestinian man then crashed his car into a wall, injuring 1 passenger, and the driver was arrested by the Israeli forces. Another 13 Palestinians were arrested during late-night raids in and around Tulkarm, Ramallah, and Hebron. In East Jerusalem, 3 Palestinians were arrested during a late-night raid in al-Tur. Israeli settler guards attacked Palestinians in Silwan using live ammunition and sound bombs; at least 2 Palestinians were injured, including 1 who was hospitalized. In Israel, a Palestinian citizen of Israel was shot dead in Basmat Tab’un; no arrests were made in relation to the killing. Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced via Twitter that 300 new settlement units in the Dolev settlement would be sent for approval to the Planning Committee.
