Fighters launch 2 rockets from Gaza toward Israel, which fall short of the border, causing no damage or injuries. The Fatahaffiliated al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades claims responsibility for the attack, the group’s first since Israel’s 2014 assault on Gaza. In response, the IDF fires artillery shells at several sites in s. Gaza late at night, causing damage. In the West Bank, Israeli settlers uproot dozens of olive trees and spray herbicides on Palestinian crops outside Yatta village nr. Hebron. IDF troops patrol nr. Nablus, Qalqilya, Hebron, and Ramallah during the day. In Israel, Israeli forces demolish the Bedouin village al-‘Araqib for the 110th time since 2010, and arrest 15 Palestinians who allegedly crossed into Israel illegally during raids in the Galilee.
