In the West Bank, 1 Palestinian succumbed to injuries sustained by Israeli forces during a raid on 1/1/2021 in the Masafer Yatta area. Israeli settlers vandalized 2 Palestinian-owned vehicles near Hebron, smashing the windows. Israeli forces shot and killed 1 Palestinian minor during a late-night raid in Far’a refugee camp. Israeli forces also shot and injured 1 Palestinian using live ammunition during a raid in Shu’fat refugee camp. 16 Palestinians were arrested during late-night raids in al-‘Awja, Halhul, Yatta, Dahariya, Nablus, Zababdeh, and al-Bireh. Israel’s acting interior minister Michael Malchieli wrote a letter to the father of the Palestinian man who hit and killed 3 Israeli settlers with his car on 2/10, saying that Israel may revoke his East Jerusalem residency.
