In the West Bank, 1 Israeli police vehicle was shot at in Nablus, no injuries were reported. Israeli settlers set fire to olive trees in Burin. Israeli settlers also set fire to olive trees and haybales in Bayt Dajan. Israeli forces issued stop-work orders for 6 Palestinian homes in Umm Lafsa in the Masafer Yatta area. 10 Palestinians were arrested, including 7 during late-night raids in Biddu, Nablus, Bethlehem, and 3 at a checkpoint near Hebron. 5 rockets were fired at Israel from Gaza in response to the large-scale Israeli attack on Jenin on 7/3 and 7/4; all were intercepted. Israel’s minister of public diplomacy Galit Distel Atbaryan said in a video on her Twitter account about Palestinian-Israeli relations, “[d]on’t be misled and don’t be naive, it’s not a war over territory. No, it’s a fundamentalist religious war of brainwashed murderers who are programmed to seek Jewish blood since age zero.
