Occupied Palestine/Israel: Curfews are in effect in 18 towns and camps in occupied territories. Palestinian is shot dead during clash in Qabatiyyah [WP 4/24; FJ 5/1]. Severe food shortages are reported inBayta village, Jalazun camp, and Nablus-area village of Yamun; villages remain sealed [FJ 5/1]. In Misha village, near Qalqiliyyah, 2 are injured by army gunfire during fierce clash. Several protesters are shot, injured when soldiers open fire during demonstrations in Bethlehem area's Hussan village, Bani Na'im, and Bani Majal. Israeli authorities use bulldozers to uproot olive trees in village of Hawwara. At least 12 are wounded by live ammunition or beating during clashes in Gaza Strip [FJ 5/1].
