1,000s of Palestinians in Gaza City, 100s of Palestinians in Ramallah march in support of Arafat, protesting his confinement in Ramallah. The DFLP says it will resume attacks on Israeli targets. IDF troops fire on Palestinians who throw stones at a tank that gets stuck in a narrow Ramallah street; 1 IDF soldier, 12 Palestinians are injured.
