In East Jerusalem, Palestinian youths march through Jabal Mukabir in commemoration of the 2 Palestinians who were killed after attacking a West Jerusalem synagogue on 11/18/2014, and Israeli forces violently disperse the demonstration, sparking clashes and injuring 5 Palestinians. Among Israel’s increased closures of Palestinian neighborhoods, Palestinian youths in Silwan protest the new checkpoints and roadblocks in the area. Elsewhere in the area, Israeli forces arrest 2 Palestinians on raids in Wadi al-Juz and n. of the city. In the West Bank, IDF troops arrest a Palestinian youth accused of carrying a knife in c. Hebron. Following clashes in Tal nr. Nablus that injured 2 Palestinians, Israeli forces raid the village and arrest 11, releasing 9 later in the day. Amid the ongoing crackdown, the IDF conducts late-night house searches and raids in Jalazun r.c. and Dahaysha r.c. as well as around Ramallah, al-Bireh, Tulkarm, and Hebron, arresting 11 Palestinians total.
