3 MARCH 2016 Along Gaza’s border, IDF troops shoot and moderately injure a Palestinian collecting gravel. Off the coast nr. Gaza City, Israeli naval forces open fire on Palestinian fishermen, damaging 3 of their boats. In the West Bank, IDF troops violently disperse a demonstration nr. Ramallah organized by 5 Palestinian food companies protesting the 3/9 Israeli decision to bar their products from Jerusalem markets; there are no serious injuries. IDF troops also patrol in a village nr. Ramallah, sparking clashes with stone-throwing youths; 1 Palestinian is injured. The IDF conducts raids and house searches in and around Jenin, Bethlehem, and Qalqilya, arresting 5 Palestinians and issuing an arrest summons to 1; patrols further nr. Hebron and Ramallah.
