Approximately 10,000 Palestinians gather along Gaza’s border to continue the Great March of Return. IDF troops violently disperse them near Gaza City, Rafah, Jabaliya refugee camp, Khan Yunis, and al-Bureij refugee camp; at least 14 Palestinians are injured, including 3 journalists. Also along Gaza’s border, Israeli forces conduct a limited incursion to level land near Rafah. They also arrest a Palestinian who crossed the border fence near Jabaliya refugee camp. The IDF later states that the man claims to be a member of Hamas’s military wing. Off Gaza’s coast, Israeli naval forces open fire on Palestinian fishing boats near Jabaliya refugee camp and Bayt Lahiya, causing no damage or injuries. In the West Bank, IDF troops violently disperse Palestinians, Israelis, and international activists at Friday protests against the Israeli occupation in Kafr Qaddum near Qalqilya; 3 Palestinians are injured, including 1 photojournalist, and 1 is arrested. Meanwhile, IDF troops conduct raids in Tuqu‘ village near Bethlehem, arresting 5 Palestinians and sparking clashes; there are no reported injuries. IDF troops also patrol near Hebron and Jenin. Israeli settlers chop down 23 olive trees in a Palestinian grove outside al-Mughayyir village near Ramallah. In East Jerusalem, Israeli forces arrest 1 Palestinian during a late-night raid in Silwan.
