Palestinian prisoner Mohammed Munir Mousa dies at the Soroka Hospital, becoming the 41st prisoner known to have died in Israeli custody since 10/7/2023. 37-year-old Mousa was arrested on 4/20/2023 and held at the Ramon Prison until he was transferred to a hospital for undisclosed reasons. U.S. secretary of state Antony Blinken says Israel has “clear and legitimate” reasons for attacking Lebanon and Hezbollah. Mikati reiterates that Lebanon is ready to strengthen its military and implement UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
