Israeli forces shot and injured 1 Palestinian man during a late-night raid in Husan. 3 Palestinians were arrested, including 1 during a late-night raid in Huwwara and 2 at checkpoint near al-Eizariya and Nablus. In East Jerusalem, 1 Palestinian family started demolishing their 3 homes in Bayt Hanina, displacing 13. 3 Palestinians were arrested in the Old City. In Gaza, 1 Palestinian child succumbed to injuries sustained by Israeli forces using live ammunition during a protest by the Gaza fence on 8/21. Israeli forces violently dispersed Palestinian protesters by the Gaza fence, injuring 3 with live ammunition and 8 with rubber-coated bullets. The Tel Aviv military court sentences Elor Azariya, the IDF soldier who killed an injured Palestinian execution-style on 3/24/2016 in c. Gulf states approve $8 billion in aid for Egypt, as interim pres. Adly Mansour appoints economist Hazem el-Beblawi as prime minister. Saudi Arabia will give $5 billion in aid, and the United Arab Emirates a further $3 billion ($2 billion of the latter come in the form of an interest-free loan).
