Israeli forces violently disperse Palestinians protesting in Madama and at-Tabaqa, causing tear-gas related injuries. Elsewhere, Israeli forces arrest 6 Palestinians during late-night raids in Bayt Awa, Hebron, Bani Na’im, Nablus, and Tulkarm. In East Jerusalem, Israeli forces beat a Palestinian man with batons at the Old City’s Lion’s Gate. In Lebanon, Israeli forces bomb Ahmadiyeh, killing at least 1 person. Israeli forces also bomb Kfar Rumman, Naqoura, Kfarchouba, Tayr Harfa, and Hanine, injuring 13 people in Kfar Rumman. More than 41,118 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 16,456 children and 11,088 women, and around 95,125 have been injured since 10/7/2023. At least 10,000 people are missing in rubble. 693 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7/2023, including 149 children. More than 5,420 people have been injured. Israel reports that 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 have been injured in Israel since 10/7/2023, including Israeli soldiers. In addition, 342 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 2,280 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27/2023. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7/2023. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. At least 79,000 housing units have been destroyed and 370,000 have been damaged in Israeli airstrikes since 10/7/2023.The Gaza Ministry of Health says around 560,000 children in Gaza have received the first dose of the polio vaccine. PA prime minister Mohammad Mustafa attends a conference titled “Towards the Implementation of the Two-State Solution” organized by Spain in Madrid. Mustafa meets with Norwegian foreign minister Espen Barth Eide on the sidelines of the conference. Israeli foreign minister Israel Katz condemns EU high commissioner for foreign affairs Josep Borrell’s attendance at the conference, saying his legacy is “anti-Semitism and hatred towards Israel.” Borrell responds, “I do not think we should play with big words that have had a tragic dimension in history.” Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Indonesia, Nigeria, Turkey, Slovenia, and Ireland are also represented at the conference.
