In the West Bank, Israeli settlers attack Palestinians harvesting olives in Burin, stealing their harvest. Israeli forces shoot and kill a Palestinian man, injure 2 others, and set fire to a building during a raid in Aqabah. Israeli forces also shoot and injure a Palestinian man during a raid in Tayasir. Elsewhere, Israeli forces violently disperse Palestinians during a raid in al-Khader, causing tear-gas related injuries. In East Jerusalem, Israeli authorities force a Palestinian family to demolish their own home in Silwan. In Gaza, Israeli forces bomb Gaza City, Jabalia refugee camp, Beit Lahiya, Dayr al-Balah, al-Mawasi, and Khan Yunis, killing at least 44 people, including 3 in a tent camp inside of al-Aqsa Hospital. Israel releases 20 Palestinians to Gaza who were abducted in northern Gaza on 10/5. In Lebanon, Israeli forces bomb Beirut, Tyre, Nabatieh, Deir Qanun, Knaisseh, Hanaway, and many other towns and villages, killing at least 53 people. Israeli forces also bomb parts of the Lebanese University’s campus in al-Hadath area of Beirut. Hezbollah forces fire rockets at Haifa. In Syria, Israeli forces bomb Aleppo and Idlib. More than 43,552 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 17,385 children and 11,487 women, and around 102,756 have been injured since 10/7/2023. At least 10,000 people are missing in rubble. 782 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7/2023, including 168 children. More than 6,500 people have been injured. Israel reports that 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 have been injured in Israel since 10/7/2023, including Israeli soldiers. In addition, 369 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 2,394 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27/2023. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7/2023. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. 87% of all housing units in Gaza have been destroyed or severely damaged since 10/7/2023. Qatar says it will halt its efforts as a mediating party in the Gaza ceasefire negotiations, saying it will resume them once all sides show “willingness and seriousness” to reach a ceasefire. Qatar also says that its role as a mediator has been used to blackmail the country and that the veneer of negotiations has been used to justify the continuation of the war.
