The IDF conducts arrest raids in Dura, Qabatya, al-Til. Jewish settlers fr. Suissa attack, beat 3 Palestinian farmers working their land in Yatta; the IDF intervenes to arrest a 4th farmer. Relatives of PA military intelligence officer ‘Abid (kidnapped 7/28) abduct 2 foreign UN workers in Gaza City to pressure the PA to get ‘Abid released; the PA secures ‘Abid’s release within hrs., and the UN workers are freed.
