The IDF tightens restrictions on Palestinian movement in Gaza, dividing the Strip into thirds; conducts arrest raids, house searches in Rafah. Jewish settlers harass, assault Palestinians (including a group of elementary school students) on al-Shuhada Street in Hebron; IDF soldiers observe but do not intervene.
