In the West Bank, Israeli settlers set fire to Palestinian-owned agricultural lands near Beita. Separately, Israeli settlers set fire to olive trees near Burin and Madama. Israeli forces clashed with Palestinians in Balata refugee camp; during the raid, 2 Palestinians were injured by live ammunition and 1 was arrested. 4 Palestinians were arrested during late-night raids in and around Tulkarm and Hebron. PA security forces also arrested 20 Palestinians who were planning to protest against corruption in the PA; the PA said the activists were arrested for violating the ban on gatherings during the COVID-19 crisis. In East Jerusalem, the PA governor of Jerusalem Adnan Gheith was arrested during a house raid in Silwan. In Israel, Israeli police violently dispersed Palestinian protesters in Jaffa demonstrating against a pending demolition of a Muslim cemetery; 4 were arrested. Israeli forces delivered an order to seize 1.5 dunams (0.4 acres) of Palestinian-owned land near Yasuf and demolition notices for 3 Palestinian-owned houses and 5 animal barns east of Hebron. Israeli forces also demolished 1 shack and 1 wall surrounding a parking lot in Tulkarm and razed some 10 dunams (2.5 acres) of land near Kisan. 9 Palestinians were arrested during late-night raids in and around Jenin, Bethlehem, Hebron, and Jericho. In East Jerusalem, Israeli forces delivered eviction notices for 7 families in Issawiyya. 1 Palestinian was arrested during a late-night raid in Silwan. Off the coast of Gaza, Israeli naval forces opened fire on Palestinian fishermen within 4 nautical miles off the shore; no injuries were reported.
