Occupied Palestine/Israel: 7 Palestinians, including 10-year-old girl, are wounded when bomb is thrown into E. Jerusalem store [FJ 12/25].

Other Countries: Fawaz Yunis, Lebanese commander of the Amal squad that hijacked a Royal Jordanian airliner in June 1985, is sentenced to 30 years in U.S. prison [NYT, WP 10/5].

Amal accuses Fateh of violating agreement by reinforcing Fateh's military presence near Tyre; Fateh responds that it is protecting itself against possible Amal, Palestinian National Salvation Front attack [FBIS 3/2].
