In the West Bank, the body of 1 Druze citizen of Israel was kidnapped for a 2nd time after it was arranged that the body would be transferred to Israel in a Red Crescent ambulance. The ambulance was stopped by armed men and the body taken to an unknown location. The Druze man was taken from a hospital in Jenin on 11/22. Hundreds of Palestinians marched in Jenin calling for the release of the body to his family. 1 Palestinian man succumbed to injuries sustained by Israeli live fire during a raid in Nablus in July. Israeli settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles near al-Bireh, causing damage. Israeli settlers also set fire to 1 Palestinian vehicle and threw stones at a house in Burin, causing damage. Elsewhere, Israeli settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles traveling near Huwwara, causing damage. Israeli forces shot and killed 1 Palestinian minor during a raid in Nablus and injured 4 others. Israeli forces also demolished 1 Palestinian school serving 22 Palestinian children in the Masafer Yatta area. Elsewhere, the Israeli Nature Authority seized 12 Palestinian-owned cows near Umm al-Ghabar in the Jordan Valley. Israeli forces delivered stop-work orders against 11 residential structures and ordered the demolition of 20 agricultural structures near Jericho, delivered stop-work orders against 2 houses in ‘Azzun, a demolition notice against a house under construction in Forush Bayt Dajan, and demolished 1 house in al-Khader. Meanwhile, Israeli forces closed the Jalameh checkpoint. 3 Palestinians were arrested during late-night raids in Ya‘bad, Bir al-Basha, and Fahma. In Jerusalem, 2 bombs went off at a bus stop in Givat Shaul, killing 1 Canadian Israeli minor and injuring 22 others. No one took responsibility for the attack. 1 Israeli man later succumbed to his wounds on 11/26, raising the death toll to 2. Israel forces later arrested 1 other Palestinian accused of being an accomplice. Israeli settlers raided Huwwara, leading to a confrontation between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians; 1 was injured with live ammunition and 8 others suffered tear-gas related injuries. Israeli settlers also vandalized olive trees in Qusra and Qaryut and stole olive harvests in Awarta. Israeli forces shot and killed 2 Palestinians and injured 5 others, including 3 medics, during a raid in Jenin refugee camp. Israeli forces also seized 1 bulldozer in Bayt Dajan. Malaysian authorities freed a Palestinian man who had been abducted, allegedly by Malaysian nationals working for Israel and trained by the Mossad in Europe. The alleged agents were arrested. In the West Bank, armed Israeli settlers raided the Masafer Yatta area, entering several Palestinian homes and assaulting the owners. Israeli settlers also destroyed water pipes and orange trees in Luban al-Sharqiyya. Elsewhere, Israeli settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles traveling near Jenin, damaging 4. Israeli forces shot and injured 1 Palestinian using a rubber-coated bullet, hitting his head, during clashes in Kafr Malik. Israeli forces also violently dispersed Palestinian protesters in al-Mughayyir; during the protest, Israeli settlers armed with guns and clubs fired shots and threatened to release attack dogs on Palestinians. Elsewhere, Israeli forces violently dispersed the weekly anti-settlement protest in Kafr Qaddum, leading to tear-gas related injuries; Palestinians managed to shoot down 1 Israeli drone with stones. Israeli forces also violently dispersed Palestinian protesters in Bayt Dajan, causing tear-gas related injuries. In the West Bank, Israeli forces shot and killed a 14-year-old Palestinian using live ammunition during a protest against a settlement outpost in al-Mughayyir; 4 were shot by rubber-coated bullets and others suffered tear-gas related injuries. Israeli forces also violently dispersed a seed planting event in Bayt Dajan, leading to tear-gas related injuries. Elsewhere, Israeli forces violently dispersed the weekly anti-settlement protests in Kafr Qaddum and a similar protest in Salfit; tear-gas related injuries were reported. The Saudi foreign minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud said at a virtual meeting that Saudi Arabia’s demand before normalization with Israel is a “peace deal that delivers a Palestinian state with dignity and with a workable sovereignty that Palestinians can accept.” (AJ 12/4)

Meanwhile, IDF troops arrest a Palestinian at a checkpoint in c. Hebron after she is found to be carrying a knife. They arrest 6 more Palestinians during latenight raids in and around Hebron, Ramallah, and Tulkarm; and patrol nr. Hebron during the day. Israeli forces level Palestinian lands outside Bayt Dajan in the n. Jordan Valley. Along Gaza’s border, Israeli forces conduct a limited incursion to level land nr. Khan Yunis. Hamas-affiliated media report that the high-level delegation to Egypt led by Hamas’s new 2d-in-command Sinwar has returned to Gaza without reaching any major agreement on the Rafah border crossing or other issues. “All the shared issues have been studied in a serious and deep way with our Egyptian brothers,” a Hamas source says. However, there is speculation in the Arab press that Hamas and the Egyptian govt. did, in fact, reach an agreement to ease points of tensions. (TOI 6/12; MNA, TOI 6/13)
