In the West Bank, the IDF conducts house searches and arrest raids in Jenin and Jenin r.c., and 1 village each nr. Hebron and Ramallah. In New York City, UN Secy.-Gen. Ban says that both Israelis and Palestinians have expressed interest in a further 24-hour truce but no deal has been reached.
