A small Salafi group fires a rocket from Gaza into Israel, which explodes in Sderot, causing no injuries and minor damage. A delegation of ICC officials, including chief prosecutor Bensouda, arrives in Israel for a 5-day educational visit. They will meet with both Israeli and Palestinian officials. Israel’s Public Security Minister Erdan and Interior Minister Aryeh Deri meet and agree to form an anti-Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) task force that will “expel” from and “ban the entry of” BDS activists in Israel. Rather than pushing for new legislation, they will instead focus on gathering intelligence to buttress calls for deportation.
