In the West Bank, Israeli settlers set fire to a Palestinian-owned car and threw stones at Palestinian vehicles near ‘Urif. Israeli settlers also attacked Israeli forces that were pursuing the suspected arsonist, blocking the soldiers’ vehicle and pushing the soldiers. The Knesset passed a law that allows the interior ministry to revoke the residency and citizenship of Palestinians in Israel who are convicted of terrorism and receive funding from the PA. Reuters reported that the UN Security Council was considering a draft resolution written by the UAE in coordination with the PA to have the body condemn Israel’s settlement announcement from 2/12.
