Ireland, Canada, the U.S., and Australia) attempting to run the Gaza blockade, taking them from international waters off the Gaza coast to Ashdod, where the boats are confiscated and the activists detained; an organizer on 1 boat is tasered by a soldier when he resists orders to leave his cabin and join the other activists being rounded up. Unidentified Palestinians fire a rocket fr. Gaza into Israel, causing no damage or injuries. In the West Bank, the IDF patrols in Jericho and 2 villages nr. Ramallah in the morning, and in Tulkarm and 1 village nr. Jericho late at night. The weekly demonstrations by Palestinians and international activists in Bil‘in and al-Nabi Salih support the Palestinian statehood bid at the UN and oppose Israeli occupation and land seizures.
