In the West Bank, 1 Israeli settler rammed a car into 1 63-year-old Palestinian woman walking to a cancer treatment facility near Sinjil, killing her. Israeli settlers also kidnapped a Palestinian man, beating him before releasing him 2 hours later near Azmut. Elsewhere, Israeli settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles traveling near the Homesh settlement outpost, causing damage. Israeli settlers also attacked 3 Palestinians having a picnic near Deir Istiya, causing injuries. Israeli forces violently dispersed Palestinian protesters during a raid in ‘Azzun, injuring 1 with live ammunition and arresting 3. Israeli forces also violently dispersed Palestinian protesters in Hebron, causing tear-gas related injuries. 2 Palestinians were arrested during a late-night raid in Ya‘bad. In East Jerusalem, Israeli forces violently dispersed Palestinian and Israeli protesters in Sheikh Jarrah, protesting against the pending eviction of the Salem family; 3 were arrested. In Gaza, Israeli forces fired missiles at structures in Khan Yunis, Jabalia refugee camp, and Shuja‘iya, causing damage but no injuries. Israel said it was responding to incendiary balloons sent to Israel from Gaza. 2 Palestinians were arrested at the Erez crossing after receiving calls to come to the crossing for their trader permit applications. Human Rights Watch (HRW) said that Israel’s targeting of 4 high-rise residential buildings in Gaza during Operation Guardians of the Wall violated international law.
