Late in the evening, a 2d Hamas bomber detonates a device outside a popular cafe in Jerusalem, killing 5 Israelis, 1 Palestinian busboy, wounding 31. The IDF assassinates Hamas Hebron leader Ahmad Badr by firing a shell at his apartment in Hebron, also killing a 2d Hamas mbr., a 12-yr.-old Palestinian bystander, wounding 2 bystanders, then demolishing the entire building; fatally shoots a Palestinian allegedly planting a roadside bomb nr.
