A report released by the Israeli organizations Kerem Navot and Haqel found that half of the privately owned Palestinian land Israel has seized in the West Bank is used for Israeli settlers only. Of 74,000 dunams (18,285 acres) seized in 313 expropriation orders since 1967, around 37,000 dunams (9,142 acres) is accessible to both Palestinians and settlers while 36,000 (8,895 acres) is accessible only to settlers. PA president Mahmoud Abbas met with Chinese president Xi Jinping in Beijing. Xi told Abbas that China “have always firmly supported the just cause of the Palestinian people to restore their legitimate national rights.” Xi also said that China would work for a comprehensive and just solution to the Israeli occupation.
