In the West Bank, Israeli settlers wrote racist graffiti on houses and slashed the tires of Palestinian-owned vehicles in Fara‘ata. Israeli settlers also rammed 2 Israeli soldiers with their cars at a checkpoint near the Homesh settlement outpost. Israeli forces delivered a demolition notice for 1 Palestinian home in Kisan and stop-work orders for 1 school and 8 residential and agricultural structures in Shaab al-Batn in the Masafer Yatta area. In Gaza, Israeli forces made incursions and leveled land near Beit Hanun. 16 Palestinians were arrested during late-night raids in Bayt Rima, Tulkarm, Tubas, Marah Rabah, Bethlehem, Hebron, Deir Sammit, as-Samu, and Yatta. In Gaza, Israeli forces opened fire on agricultural lands east of Abasan; no injuries were reported. Off the coast of Gaza, Israeli naval forces opened fire on Palestinian fishermen northwest of Rafah; no injuries were reported. PA prime minister Mohammed Shtayyeh met with U.S. deputy assistant secretary for Israeli and Palestinian affairs Hady Amr in Ramallah, discussing the PA economy and the Palestinian people’s frustration with the lack of progress in their situation. (WAFA, WAFA 3/14)

In the West Bank, Israeli settlers from the evacuated Homesh settlement outpost attacked 3 Palestinian farmers working their lands near Burqa with stones, sticks, and physical assault. Israeli settlers also threw stones at Palestinian vehicles driving on the Jenin-Nablus road, damaging 4 cars. Elsewhere, Israeli settlers set fire to Palestinian-owned olive trees in al-Shuyukh, damaging 50. Israeli forces violently dispersed Palestinians during a raid in Nablus, injuring 1 with live ammunition and others with tear gas. Israeli forces also demolished an agricultural structure in Yatta and uprooted 250 olive trees in al-Ras. 3 Palestinians were arrested during raids in Bethlehem and Yatta. In East Jerusalem, 85 Israeli settlers toured the Haram al-Sharif compound. 4 Palestinians were arrested during a raid in Isawiya. The Israeli state prosecutor’s office urged the Jerusalem district court to uphold a ban barring Palestinian applicants for family reunification, despite the law having expired in July. The state prosecutor’s office said that the expiration of the ban is only temporary. (HA 11/15)

It was reported that Israel’s defense minister Benny Gantz had asked the U.S. to pressure European and Arab countries to increase their aid to the PA, fearing that the PA might financially collapse soon. The request was reportedly made ahead of the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee on 11/17. (HA 11/15)

Hebron for settlement expansion; conducts late-night arrest raids, house searches in and around Tubas, in Tulkarm town and r.c., and nr. Bethlehem, Jenin, Ramallah. The IDF fires live ammunition at Palestinian protesters marching to their lands outside Qalqilya that have been cut off by the separation wall, seriously wounding 1; conducts arrest raids, house searches in and around Hebron and in al-Mawasi, Nablus, Tamun. In separate incidents in Karmil and Yatta, 5 Palestinians are injured when they accidentally trigger unexploded IDF ordnance. Jewish settlers protesting Israel’s planned evacuation of Homesh settlement in the West Bank march fr. nr. Tulkarm toward Nablus, throwing stones, bottles at Palestinian homes along the way; when Palestinian youths respond by throwing stones at the settlers, the IDF intervenes, fires percussion grenades and rubber bullets, injuring 2 Palestinian teenagers, 1 journalist covering the incident.
