In the Indian Ocean, an Israel-linked tanker was hit by a drone 120 miles west of India, causing damage. The U.S. military also said 2 ballistic missiles were fired from Yemen at commercial vessels, missing their targets. More than 20,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 8,000 children and 6,200 women, and around 54,000 have been injured since 10/7. At least 8,000 people were missing in rubble, including 1,700 children. 296 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7, including 75 children. More than 3,800 people have been injured. Israel reported that 1,200 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 have been injured since 10/7. 148 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 771 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12 due to the Israeli blockade. At least 65,000 housing units have been destroyed and 290,000 have been damaged in Israeli airstrikes since 10/7, constituting over 60% of all housing units. The UN distributed around 4,000 gallons of fuel, goods, and medical supplies to hospitals in northern Gaza, including to al-Shifa Hospital, which was hosting 50,000 internally displaced Palestinians.
