Ramallah. 2,000 Palestinians take part in a nonviolent demonstration to reopen the Ramallah-Birzeit road. When demonstrators cross the IDF barricades, troops open fire with rubber-coated steel bullets, injuring 17. Jewish settlers place caravans on a hill nr.
