In the West Bank, Israeli settlers set up 3 tents and vandalized Palestinian-owned vehicles in Deir Dibwan. Israeli settlers also raided a spring in Qaryut. Israeli forces shot and injured 2 Palestinians near the separation wall in Habla. Israeli forces also violently dispersed Palestinian protesters in Kafr Qaddum, injuring 5 with baton rounds and others with tear gas. Israeli forces violently dispersed Palestinian protesters in Shufa, Qaryut, and Bayt Dajan, causing tear-gas related injuries. 8 Palestinians were arrested during late-night raids in Fawwar refugee camp, Hebron, Kafr Ra’i, and Qabatiya. Commander of the Samaria Brigade Roi Zweig told his soldiers, in a televised speech, that they had to “restore the honor to this land and the people of Israel,” before the troops entered Nablus to guard the site of Joseph’s Tomb, which is undergoing restoration work after it was vandalized on 4/9.
