In the West Bank, Israeli settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles traveling near Jaba’, injuring 1 Palestinian whose car was hit by a stone. Israeli settlers with a military escort also threw stones at Palestinians and Palestinian property in Umm al-Khair. In East Jerusalem, Israeli police assaulted and severely beat Christians seeking to attend the Holy Fire ceremony at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Israel had severely reduced the permitted capacity from some 10,000 attendees to 2,200 to the condemnation of Church officials, the PA, and Jordan. Off the coast of Gaza, Israeli naval forces opened fire at Palestinian fishermen; no injuries were reported. In Tel Aviv, for the fifteenth week in a row tens of thousands of Israelis protested against the Israeli government.
