Following the funerals for 4 Palestinians killed on 10/27, Israeli-Palestinian clashes intensify further, leaving 50 Palestinians injured. 2 Palestinians, including a journalist hit by live ammunition in Bethlehem on 10/19, die of wounds received earlier. In Bayt Jala, IDF shelling destroys a building housing 10 adults, 15 children. Jewish settlers move 4 caravans to Havat Maon, one of the illegal enclaves that Barak evacuated in 1999. 15,000 Mauritanians attend a rally calling on the government to sever ties with Israel in light its military action against Palestinians.
