The Knesset passed a law that allows the interior ministry to revoke the residency and citizenship of Palestinians in Israel who are convicted of terrorism and receive funding from the PA. Reuters reported that the UN Security Council was considering a draft resolution written by the UAE in coordination with the PA to have the body condemn Israel’s settlement announcement from 2/12. Israel said it had lifted all restrictions on movement in and out of Nablus after a 3-week siege of the city. 128 scholars signed a statement urging the UN not to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of anti-Semitism, calling it “divisive and polarizing. PA prime minister Mohammed Shtayyeh warned UK prime minister Liz Truss that if the UK moves its embassy to Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, it would be seen by the PA as a recognition of the Israeli annexation of Jerusalem. The EU-Israel association council convened for the 1st time since 2012.
