In the West Bank, Israeli settlers with a military escort raided Jalud, leading to a confrontation between Palestinians protecting themselves and Israeli forces; 2 were injured with baton rounds and others with tear gas. Israeli forces shot and injured 1 Palestinian minor before arresting him near Fawwar refugee camp. Israeli forces also raided Beita twice, injuring 3 with rubber-coated bullets and others with tear gas. In East Jerusalem, Israeli settlers toured the Haram al-Sharif compound. The Wall Street Journal reported that former senior White House advisor Jared Kushner’s private equity fund Affinity Partners will reinvest some of the $2 billion raised from Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund in Israeli tech companies.
