In East Jerusalem, Israeli forces seal off the family home in Shu’fat of a Palestinian who was shot dead on 2/16 after allegedly killing 2 Israelis. The body of 6-year-old Palestinian Hind Rajab is found dead in Gaza City after she is killed by Israeli forces along with several members of her family on 1/30. Rajab’s call for help was widely circulated on social media. 2 medics trying to rescue Rajab were also killed after Israeli forces blew up their ambulance. Israel’s military claims that Hamas had a tunnel network and a communications center underneath the UNRWA headquarters in Gaza City. UNRWA commissioner-general Philippe Lazzarini says UNRWA staff fled the headquarters on 10/12/2023 and have not been back since but says the agency conducted an inspection of the premises in September 2023 and did not find anything suspicious.
