In Beach and Jabalya camps, soldiers confiscate IDs, order residents to pay taxes and utility bills [FJ 4/17]. Israeli journalist Ya'acov Afrat is arrested for security reasons [FJ 4/24].

Military Action

Occupied Palestine/Israel: Demonstrators clash with Israeli troops after Friday prayers in Nablus, Ramallah, and al-Birah. Youth is shot, wounded by live ammunition in Bayt Hanun [LAT 4/16]. Israeli sources report 10 Palestinians are injured by army gunfire in Jabalya camp. Curfews continue in Bayta village and Jalazun, Am'ari, and Balatah camps [FJ 4/17].
