In Amman, head of the Refugee Working Group, Canadian Andrew Robinson, begins a 9-day tour of Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, Israel to assess the possibility of resuming multilateral negotiations now that the peace process appears to have resumed. (JT 9/18 in WNC 9/21)

Disney says Israeli exhibit on Jerusalem will go forward, but will not make reference to Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Arab states say that they may still boycott Disney depending on what the exhibit actually shows when it opens. Israeli PM Barak denounces the Arab lobbying, sends his own delegation to meet with Disney officials.
