Israeli-Palestinian clashes continue. Nr. Rafah border, a Palestinian sniper fatally shoots an IDF soldier. The IDF seals the border with Egypt, closes the Gaza airport, shells areas around Rafah in response. The IDF also demolishes 4 Palestinian homes nr. Netzarim Junction; bulldozes 40 dunams of Palestinian land to expand Gush Etzion settlement. 1 Palestinian dies of a heart attack when the IDF blocks his transportation to Nablus hospital.
