The IDF fatally shoots an elderly Palestinian bystander during an arrest raid on Nablus; fires on Palestinians demonstrating in support of Arafat nr. Kefar Darom, wounding several; demolishes 1 Palestinian home in Silat al-Harith. 5 armed AMB mbrs. raid the Ramallah offices of al-Arabiyya TV, smash equipment; the station speculates that the AMB was angered over its reports on internal PA rifts, asks the PSF to investigate; Arafat condemns the attack, orders an investigation.
