The IDF conducts arrest raids, house searches in camps and villages around Bethlehem and Tulkarm, nr. Ramallah, in East Jerusalem; demolishes 2 rooms of a Palestinian home nr. Qalqilya for lack of permits. Jewish settlers fr. Ramat Yishai burn Palestinian olive trees, almond trees, grape vines in Hebron, also damaging storage buildings. Jewish settlers fr. Tene Oranim in the s. West Bank report that 80% of residents have signed a letter to Sharon offering to leave their settlement in exchange for the same compensation received by settlers evacuated under the disengagement plan.
