The IDF conducts arrest raids, house searches in Bayt Laqia; bars an ailing Palestinian fr. crossing a checkpoint nr. Nablus to reach a waiting ambulance for 40 mins., allowing him to die. For the 2d day, an Israeli navy gunboat fires on several Palestinian fishing boats, orders fishermen to leave their catch and return to shore.
