In the West Bank, the IDF patrols in 2 villages nr. Ramallah in the morning and in Nur al-Shams r.c. and neighboring Tulkarm r.c. late at night; conducts late-night arrest raids, house searches nr. Jenin, Ramallah. OCHA reports that Israel has announced that the Hawara checkpoint, the main checkpoint controlling access to Nablus, will no longer be staffed; Israel has steadily eased access to Nablus since 6/2009.
