In the Gaza Strip, Israeli naval vessels open fire on Palestinian fishermen nr. Bayt Lahiya, causing no injuries; IDF arrests 2 Palestinians at the border nr. alBureij r.c. trying to cross into Israel for work. In the West Bank, the IDF patrols in 2 villages nr. Ramallah and 1 village nr. Jenin (firing tear gas at stone-throwing Palestinians) in the morning; patrols in 4 villages nr. Qalqilya and 2 villages nr. Ramallah at night; conducts house searches and arrest raids in 3 villages nr. Hebron and 2 villages nr. Salfit at night. Palestinians report that Jewish settlers destroy crops in 2 villages nr.
