Jordan’s parliament votes unanimously to expel the Israeli amb. and recall its own envoy, a vote that is not binding on the cabinet. The move comes after Israeli lawmakers debated a proposal on 2/25 to take control of Haram al-Sharif, which is currently administered by Jordan as per a 1994 treaty with Israel. Meanwhile, the Arab League permanent representatives meet for an emergency session to discuss the possibility of filing a complaint to the UNSC regarding recent Israeli attacks on the holy site.
