Around 400 Jewish settlers tour Haram al-Sharif in commemoration of Tisha B’av, the Jewish day of mourning. Stone-throwing Palestinians clash with the settlers’ Israeli police escort; at least 18 Palestinians are injured and 7 settlers are arrested. Israeli settlers assault and moderately injure a Palestinian child selling bread in Silwan. In the West Bank, IDF troops arrest a Palestinian youth after she allegedly stabs and lightly injures an Israeli soldier outside a settlement nr. Jenin. They arrest 10 more Palestinians during raids and house searches in and around Tulkarm, Jenin, Nablus, and Bethlehem; and patrol nr. Hebron and Nablus throughout the day.
