Elsewhere in East Jerusalem, the Israeli authorities announce that they will be reopening a gate along the separation wall for the 1st time in 7 years, allowing Palestinian residents of al-Ram village access to the city. Israeli forces arrest 2 Palestinians during raids and patrols in the Old City and Issawiyya. A Palestinian family demolishes their own 3 stores in Silwan, to avoid paying for the Jerusalem Municipality’s demolition crew. Along Gaza’s border, Israeli forces conduct a limited incursion to level land nr. Gaza City; open fire on Palestinian farmers working in the area. Off the coast, Israeli naval forces open fire on Palestinian fishing boats nr. Bayt Lahiya, causing no damage. In the West Bank, Israeli forces demolish an agricultural structure nr. Qalqilya.
