In the West Bank, IDF troops arrest 5 Palestinians during late-night raids nr. Hebron and Qalqilya. They also shoot and injure a Palestinian attempting to cross into Israel nr. Bethlehem. Meanwhile, Coca-Cola inaugurates its 1st bottling plant in Gaza, kicking off full operations at the $20m. facility (partial operations began in 4/2016). The plant employs 120 Palestinians from Gaza, and the company plans to employ up to 270 within 3 yrs. In East Jerusalem, Israeli forces arrest 5 Palestinians during raids in the Old City, Abu Dis, al-Ram, and Sur al-Bahir. (MNA, TOI 11/30; PCHR 12/8)
