In the West Bank, Israeli forces close entrances to a number of villages nr. Bethlehem with mounds of earth and cement blocks (they will reopen the villages on 2/20). The IDF also assaults a Palestinian s. of Hebron. He suffers memory loss, and cannot recall the details of the attack. IDF troops arrest 2 Palestinians during raids nr. Jericho and Hebron, and patrol nr. Hebron and Nablus. In East Jerusalem, around a dozen right-wing Jewish activists tour Haram al-Sharif. Their security escort arrests 2 Islamic Waqf employees.
