Along Gaza’s border, IDF troops open fire on Palestinians throwing stones at the border fence near Khan Yunis, killing 1 and injuring a number of others. Off Gaza’s coast, Israeli naval forces open fire on Palestinian fishing boats near Jabaliya refugee camp and Bayt Lahiya, causing no damage or injuries. In the West Bank, the Israeli authorities allow Palestinian shop owners to reopen 15 shops in central Hebron. The shops were closed in 2000. IDF troops patrol near Salfit and Hebron.
