In the West Bank, IDF troops arrest a Palestinian minor allegedly after she attempts to stab 1 of them at a checkpoint near Bethlehem. They also arrest 4 Palestinians during late-night raids near Qalqilya and Nablus, and patrol near Hebron and Tulkarm. The IDF cordons off a section of central Hebron, making space for hundreds of Israeli settlers to celebrate Purim. Along Gaza’s southern border, an errant Egyptian mortar hits an abandoned Palestinian home in Rafah, injuring 1 passerby. Israeli forces conduct a limited incursion into Gaza to level land near Khan Yunis. The IDF announces that Israeli soldiers recently defused an IED placed along the border intended to attack Israeli border patrols. The IED is reportedly similar to the one that detonated and injured several soldiers on 2/17. Off Gaza’s coast, Israeli naval forces open fire on Palestinian fishing boats near Jabaliya refugee camp, causing no damage or injuries.
