In the West Bank, Israeli forces arrested 3 Palestinians during raids in and around Bethlehem. Israeli forces also violently dispersed the weekly anti-settlement protest in Kafr Qaddum; 3 Palestinians were injured by rubber-coated bullets, including 1 minor. Elsewhere, in al-‘Arub refugee camp, Israeli forces clashed with Palestinians, leading to tear-gas related injuries. Israeli settlers cut down 17 olive trees in al-Sawiya. In East Jerusalem, several Palestinians were injured, including 5 by rubber-coated bullets, when Israeli forces raided the Haram al-Sharif compound; 7 Palestinians were arrested during the raid. A Palestinian family demolished their own home to avoid exorbitant Israeli-imposed demolition fees in Jabal Mukabir, displacing 6 people. In Gaza, Israeli forces opened fire on Palestinian farmlands on 2 separate occasions east of Khan Yunis; no injuries were reported. (WAFA, WAFA 1/17; PCHR 1/23)
